THE CHRIST
In the book ‘THE CASTRATED’(Broken Bottle):A story was told by one of my friends about a lady who for many years could not progress in all of her life’s endeavours simply becase a spell was cast on her when she was young and the captor went to her grave without releasing her from the curse. However,the good news was that through effective praying and revelation of God she was loosened from the age-old bondage into liberty and restoration of all she had lost.This is without a doubt a lesson in spiritual wickedness!Yet the power of the anointing(the CHRIST) can break every such yokes of bondage and set the captive free.
Text: Psalm 24:8
According to Adam Clarke’s Commentary,Several, both among ancients and moderns, have thought this Psalm speaks of the resurrection of our Lord, and is thus to be understood. It is easy to apply it in this way: Jesus has conquered sin, Satan, and death, by dying. He now rises from the dead; and, as a mighty Conqueror, claims an entrance into the realms of glory, the kingdom which he has purchased by his blood; there to appear ever in the presence of God for us, to which he purposes to raise finally the innumerable hosts of his followers; for in reference to these, He is the Lord of hosts; and, in reference to his victory, He is the Lord mighty in battle.
UNVEILING THE CHRIST?
NT:5547 ‘Christos’ (khris-tos'); from NT:5548; anointed, i.e. the Messiah, an epithet (appellation,description,label)of Jesus:

NT:5548 ‘chrio’ (khree'-o); probably akin to NT:5530 through the idea of contact; to smear or rub with oil, i.e. (by implication) to consecrate to an office or religious service:
KJV - anoint.
- Acts 8:4-8 - Great joy and societal change comes when ‘The Christ’ is given its deserved place.(Christ NOT philanthropic works!)
- Matt 18:19- The Christ Identity revealed by Peter.
- Acts 4:33-Apostle preached only the resurrection.
- Acts 17:16-18.Great effectiveness in the marketplace comes only thru the resurrection knowledge.
- Rom 14:7-9. Death and resurrection preceeds Lordship.
- Acts 2:22-27 .Wherever there is a death there is the hope of reviving!
- Rom 8:11 -The Holy Spirit is the spirit of Resurrection!
The Christ is a revelation from God that shatters “the Gates of Hell”!
The Christ is accessed only by death!
The Christ Anointing comes out of the Resurrected Life!
Prayers:
(1)Grant the eyes of my understanding to be opened.
(2)Lord give me a revelation of the Christ (The Anointing)
(3)Lord,help me to die to the world and live up to God.
(4)Raise me above all lives problems by your Spirit of Resurrection.
Final Word:
Praying Ps 24:6,7,8 will break the barriers of Hell !
